General Business Policies The purpose of my business is to contribute to peoples lives with art and graphic design. In my paintings I use top quality materials and time tested production and shipping methods. Because of this, I guarantee all of my work and shipping against defect. I promise to produce and deliver graphic design products to you consistent with the image you wish to present, on time. I also guarantee your satisfaction. Simply pay to have your purchase shipped back to me, insured and undamaged, within 14 days from your receipt and I will refund your total purchase price (please keep and use the original packaging). About my Paintings Unless otherwise noted, all work on this site is a one of a kind, original painting or drawing, not a print or copy. Because of this, all work on this site is offered strictly on a first come, first served basis. The piece you intend to purchase may be no longer available! For this reason you may receive an email back from me when you purchase a piece offering you the choice of another painting. All of my paintings and drawings are made using archival quality materials, and usually signed on the front and titled and dated on the back. Purchasing All of the artwork shown here is
for sale. You may purchase my
paintings securely and easily using Pay Pal, any major debit or credit
card, or by sending me a personal check. Whichever you choose, your purchase will be shipped within 3 days of your payment clearing my bank. I use the PayPal Shopping Cart system in some places on my website. It's free for you to use and is very secure. You do not have to have a PayPal account to purchase using this system. When you go to an individual painting page you will find two buttons: 1. The Add To Cart button takes you to the PayPal cart page for my store, and will show a listing
of that painting and any others you've added. From there you may click forward to give
your shipping address and check out by giving your payment information, or,
if you have a PayPal account, to log in to your
account. You may also return to
shopping or delete items from your cart from this page. While there is always an inherent risk in transacting business online, I have never had a customer report to me any problems dealing with PayPal. On pages without the PayPal buttons you will be instructed to send me an email with the title of the painting you are interested in. If you wish to pay for your purchase with Visa or MasterCard over the phone, please email me your request. About Shipping Our shipping department is proud to say that, after over 200 shipments, we have never received a report of a lost or damaged painting! Your painting will be shipped within 3 days of your payment clearing. Faster shipping is available. Please email me your shipping address for the additional fee. International shipments (anywhere outside of the contiguous 48 United States): When you pay online you will be billed the U.S. shipping fee and asked for your shipping address. Please pay this fee and complete your checkout, making sure you post your correct shipping address where required during checkout. When I receive your payment with your address I will bill you by email for the extra amount required to ship to your address. I ship via the United States Postal Service, UPS or FedEX, insured for the value of the painting and cost of shipping. Please open your package carefully and keep the packaging for a week or two in case you wish to return your purchase. Also, please let me know if your packaging arrives particularly beat up or looks like it's been opened, even if your purchase is undamaged. I rely on customer feedback for quality control! Please Note Due to variations in individual monitor settings, colors may not show true to life. Please refer to actual measurements of painting for size, as composite room setting photos may not show painting true to scale. About Commissions Besides being a valuable investment, one of my abstract or semi-abstract paintings painted especially for your home or office, lobby, conference room or other business space - can create exactly the right feeling and environment for you and your customers and employees. The right piece of original art in the right spot in your home can bring peace, pleasure or inspiration to you when you wake up in the morning or after a big day. A commissioned painting can boost sales in a retail setting, increase productivity in a meeting room or factory, promote healing in a health care facility, and inspire creativity in a private office. My paintings are known for their subtlety, humor, drama, dynamic color and action, and rich surface and textural complexity. They are appreciated for their staying power – it is art you will love more and more every day! Commissioning a David Jones painting is easy, painless and your satisfaction is guaranteed. Here’s how: 1. Our first meeting will determine exactly where you wish to place your artwork, as well as what impact you want to have on those most likely to view the painting. 2. In our second meeting I will mix up the colors we choose together, determined by what you want to communicate and what colors are already present in the surroundings. We’ll also agree on the size, media and design of the painting. A price will be agreed upon and at this time you’ll pay a 50% deposit. For out of town customers, I will work from fabric samples, paint chips and your photos. 3. Our third meeting will consist of an initial hanging of the work, with your approval, to begin a 2 week trial period. This will give you time to live with the painting, after which you may request that changes be made. (Initial price agreed upon includes this one round of changes- additional hangings and subsequent modifications may cost more.) Out of town customers will receive accurate color photos for review. 4. Our final transaction comes after all the changes have been made to your satisfaction. At this time you will make your final payment of the balance remaining on the painting. Now’s the time to move beyond boring, flat prints that may or may not represent you or your business.
